Description
Bellringer appears hidden inside a metal cabinet at first glance — a silent, suspended clown figure locked away like part of a forgotten carnival act. When activated, the cabinet doors suddenly swing open and the figure drops slightly forward, creating a sharp and unexpected scare moment directly above or in front of visitors.
The hands and head remain completely still during activation. The movement is focused purely on the sudden forward drop, which makes the moment feel unnatural and tense. The bells attached to the costume immediately start to jingle, supported by sound effects that complete the illusion and intensify the scare.
This creates a compact but highly effective overhead scare, ideal for installations where guests walk underneath, pass through tight corridors or move below the prop in ride systems.
Designed as a strong visual character, Bellringer combines a demonic clown face, exaggerated grin and carnival styling with a simple but powerful motion concept that delivers a direct impact without complex mechanics.
Plug & Play System
Bellringer is delivered as a plug-and-play pneumatic scare prop.
All motion components, internal mechanics and technical setup are pre-assembled and prepared for integration into your attraction.
You only need to connect:
-
compressed air supply
-
trigger or control signal (optional)
Motion Configuration
The movement style and behaviour are defined before production begins and must be agreed in advance based on the installation, scene layout and available space.
Movement configuration for Bellringer:
-
cabinet doors open on activation
-
figure drops slightly forward
-

funfair haunted houses and walkthrough attractions
Air Requirements
This prop operates using pneumatic motion.
Minimum working pressure: 4 bar

Operation & Control
The prop is programmed by default in automatic mode.
This means the activation interval is preset based on the customer’s request (for example every X seconds).
If you prefer to operate the prop using:

a show controller
these control options are available but must be purchased separately and are not included with the prop.
Controller Housing & Protection
Each prop controller is professionally installed inside a moisture-resistant enclosure from Spelsberg.
Spelsberg is a German manufacturer known for high-quality electrical enclosures, widely used in industrial and professional installations where reliability, durability and safety are critical.
This enclosure protects the electronics against:
-
moisture and humidity
-
dust and environmental influences
-
mechanical stress during operation
This ensures long-term stability and safe operation of the prop, even in demanding attraction environments.
Built to Order
Each Bellringer prop is custom built on demand.
Production starts after order confirmation.
Dimensions, structure, cabinet size and finish are defined during the build preparation to match your attraction and installation environment.
If you would like to know the current production lead time and estimated delivery date, please contact us before placing your order.
