Description
The Hanging Clown appears lifeless at first — suspended upside down, motionless, like a forgotten body left behind. As visitors approach, the arms slowly begin to swing while the head moves along with the motion, creating an unsettling and unnatural presence. The irregular movement and inverted position immediately trigger discomfort and tension, making this prop highly effective in tight walkthroughs and scare corridors.
Designed as a disturbing visual and motion-based scare, this prop works perfectly in haunted houses, clown zones, circus scenes, basements and psychological horror environments.
Plug & Play System
The Hanging Clown is delivered as a plug-and-play animatronic prop.
All motion components, internal mechanics and technical setup are pre-assembled and prepared for integration into your attraction.
You only need to connect:

Motion Configuration
The movement behaviour is defined before production begins and must be agreed in advance based on the installation, scene layout and available space.
Standard motion includes:

swinging arm movement

synchronized head wobble following the arm motion

irregular timing for a natural unsettling effect
Each setup is adjusted to ensure safe operation and maximum scare impact.
Air Requirements
This prop does not require compressed air unless a pneumatic configuration is requested.
If pneumatic elements are included:
Minimum working pressure: 2,5 bar
Compressor not included.
Operation & Control
The prop is programmed by default in automatic mode.
This means the activation interval is preset based on the customer’s request (for example every X seconds).
If you prefer to operate the prop using:

a show controller
these control options are available but must be purchased separately and are not included with the prop.

Each prop controller is professionally installed inside a moisture-resistant enclosure from Spelsberg.
Spelsberg is a German manufacturer known for high-quality electrical enclosures, widely used in industrial and professional installations where reliability, durability and safety are critical.
This enclosure protects the electronics against:
